Adoptable Dogs

 BAGEL
Age: 3 years
Breed: Bully Mix
Size: 50 lbs
Ideal Home: A calm, loving home where he can decompress, gain back his strength, and spend plenty of time with his people

Background:
Bagel was transferred to us from animal control after he began struggling with the stress of kennel life. Originally picked up as a stray in December, he waited patiently for a family that never came. The constant noise and chaos became overwhelming for this gentle boy, and the stress began to affect his health. He lost weight, his coat thinned, and it became clear he needed a quieter place to recover. Since arriving with us, Bagel has been settling in well. Our focus now is helping him regain weight, feel secure again, and prepare for the loving home he has always deserved.

Personality:

  • Gentle, affectionate, and incredibly sweet
  • Very people-oriented and happiest spending time with his humans
  • Walks beautifully on a leash
  • Polite and well-mannered in his kennel
  • Loves meals, treats, and quiet companionship

Good With:

  • Possibly calm dogs (meet and greets required) - may be better starting as the only dog

Unknown With:

  • Unknown with cats (can be cat-tested once he gains more weight and strength for serious inquiries)

Bagel is the full package: handsome, loving, and deeply loyal. What he wants most is a peaceful home and a family who will cherish him the way he deserves.

The kennel environment can make him a little nervous at first, but once he warms up, his bright, joyful personality shines through. He’s ready to leave kennel stress behind and find a forever family who will help him continue building confidence.

Personality:

  • Sweet, friendly, and affectionate
  • Rambunctious and full of youthful energy
  • Loves zoomies and active playtime
  • Absolutely obsessed with snow and outdoor fun
  • Happiest when he’s with his people

Good With:

  • Other dogs
  • Older, dog-experienced children

Does Not Prefer:

  • Young children who may be overwhelmed by his enthusiasm

Size: 60 lbs
Ideal Home: A fun, active home that appreciates a goofy, energetic dog with a big personality

Background:
Jeremy is a 2-year-old mixed breed who may have a little Great Dane in him, but he’s definitely 100% comedian. This lovable goofball was picked up as a stray, and somehow we ended up with one of the sweetest, silliest, most entertaining dogs around. Jeremy is pure joy wrapped up in a lanky, wiggly body.

Personality:

  • Playful, goofy, and full of personality
  • Loves toys and will happily carry them around
  • Melts into a puddle when he gets pets and attention
  • Enjoys galloping around the play yard like a horse
  • Walks well on a leash and greets new people happily

Foster Families Needed

Cat-Savvy Fosters Needed

We have a few kitties who need a cat-savvy foster family, or foster-to-adopt home, to work with them on socialization. These cats are not feral, but they are not well socialized. We know they have it in them to be loving companions given the right circumstances and a patient person. Please consider serving as a socialization foster or a foster-to-adopt family. The kitties to consider are Ricardo, Brulee, or Midnight!

KITTENS

We are always in need of reliable foster homes for kittens up to 6 months old, moms cats with nursing kittens, and neonatal kittens. Our greatest need is fosters willing to take on a mom and nursing kittens!

WOASH can provide food, litter, and other supplies while foster families provide the love and care. Once kittens are of appropriate age and vet care, they begin seeking their forever homes through the WOASH adoption process.

Call to inquire about becoming a kitten foster home.

*The pictured kittens have been adopted and are not in need of a foster home.*

Found kittens or a mom with nursing kittens? Offer to one time foster! By offering to foster the kittens through our shelter, we can provide supplies and care, you just provide the space, love, and care!
