CHLOE
3 year old pit mix
This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home! Chloe is a 63lb mix with a heart as big as her paws. She was picked up as a stray in rough shape, battling a bad skin and ear infection. But thanks to plenty of meds, TLC, and a little time, she’s on the mend! Chloe will go home with any necessary medications and scheduled check-ups if needed—so don’t fret, we’ve got her covered!
It looks like Chloe was used for breeding before being discarded, but despite her past, she’s nothing but love. She’s a gentle soul with the sweetest, saddest puppy dog eyes — until you bring out the toys! Chloe loves toys and will happily collect every tennis ball she can find to bring back to her kennel. She also a fan of the big squeaky toys.
She’s a champion snuggler and you can usually find her curled up as small as she can be in her bed. Even when she’s snoozing, she’s always excited to get up for playtime and to spend time with her humans! Chloe walks well on a leash and would thrive with confident owners who can help her continue building trust. She may be a little nervous at first, but it only takes a second for her to realize you’re safe—then she’s all cuddles!
Chloe does well with other dogs but we would only recommend her living with male dogs. We’re not sure about cats yet, but we’re happy to test if needed. Chloe would do best with older or teen aged children due to her size.
If you’re ready to turn Chloe’s sad puppy dog eyes into a big, happy bully smile, give our office a call to schedule a meet-and-greet!
MARSHAL
1 year old pit mix
In foster care
Marshal has had a bit of a rough start. After surviving Parvo as a puppy, he spent months in a foster-based rescue with little interest, waiting for his chance to shine. But now that he’s with us, he’s showing us just how much love and potential he has to offer.
While he’s a little nervous around new people and unfamiliar places at first, once he gets to know you, he’s the biggest cuddle bug. Marshal is a gentle soul who just wants companionship, but he’ll need someone patient to help him build his confidence and feel secure in new situations. With the right support, we know he’ll blossom into the amazing, affectionate dog he was meant to be.
Marshal thrives when he has the company of other dogs, and we believe he would do best in a home with at least one other dog to help him feel safe and comfortable. His confidence soars when he knows he has a canine buddy by his side, and he’s also been great with cats who are used to dogs.
Given his sweet, sensitive nature, Marshal would do best in a home with teen-aged children, where he can feel more at ease. While he’s been around younger kids in the past, the unpredictability and noise of small children might make him feel a bit uneasy, so a calm, predictable environment would be ideal.
Marshal has one big wish: he hates being in a kennel. He just wants to be with his people or other pups, and it breaks our hearts to see him sad and alone. But with the right family, we know he’ll leave kennel life behind and finally experience the love and stability he’s been craving.
PACO
1 year old bully mix
Paco was originally picked up by animal control after a skunky situation —yep, he got sprayed! While he’s had his fair share of baths, this handsome boy is slowly regaining his dignity and learning to trust the world again.
Adventure Buddy in the Making – Paco has already explored the creek and is working on building his confidence. He’s learning leash skills and getting better at following his human’s lead, knowing we’ll keep him safe.
Foodie Alert! – Paco is super treat-motivated, making training fun and rewarding! He’s currently working on perfecting his "sit" and would thrive with positive reinforcement training.
Playful & Strong – This big, lovable guy still has some puppy energy and is learning his manners. He loves playtime and would do best in a home with teens or adults due to his size and enthusiasm.
Dog-Friendly! – Paco enjoys the company of most other dogs, especially the ladies! He’s still being evaluated around cats, so for now, a cat-free home is best.
After a rough start in life and ending up in a shelter, Paco is just looking for a family to love and trust. He adores human attention and simply wants time out of his kennel to be with people.
TURNER
< 1 year old bully mix
Introducing Turner! This 1 year old, 67lb (and still growing!) bully mix is as sweet as they come. With his big goofy grin and even bigger heart, Turner is ready to find a family to love forever!
Why You’ll Love Turner:
Well-mannered & eager to please – He already knows “sit” and walks great on a leash! (For now, at least! )

A total sweetheart – He’s all about sharing his love (and maybe a few slobbery kisses)!
Not cat-tested yet, but with slow introductions, we think he’ll do just fine.

TEDDY
4 month old shepherd mix
Meet LJ & Teddy!
These 16-week-old Shepherd mix brothers are ready to find their forever homes! These sweet, playful pups take a little time to come out of their shells, but with love and patience, they’ll blossom into the perfect companions we know they’re meant to be.
LJ and Teddy require another young, playful pup in their home to help them build confidence and ensure they continue learning proper socialization. These adorable boys should be around 50 pounds when fully grown. Teddy is a sturdy little guy, while LJ is still catching up in size. Both have the most heart-melting eyes and expressive ears! They do not need to be adopted together.

ANDRE
5 year old male
Andre is a large and handsome five-year-old gray cat with a heart as big as his stature. Found as a stray, Andre is still adjusting to the changes in his life but has shown his sweet nature by leaning into head scratches and seeking out treats. He’s a big fan of catnip toys and loves tucking himself into cozy cat cubes for a bit of quiet time.
Shelter life has been an adjustment for Andre, particularly being around other cats. Right now, he’d do best in a calm home where he can be the center of attention as the only cat.
If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who enjoys the simpler things in life, like head scratches and a comfy spot to lounge, Andre may be the perfect fit for your home. Andrw doesn't ask for much, and doesn't mind having his independent time and space while you are at work for the day. Give this sweet, solid boy the chance he deserves to shine in a calm and loving environment.
BUDDY
1.5 year old male
Buddy is a stunning 1.5-year-old with long, luxurious black fur that will melt your heart! He’s been through quite a journey, having lived as a stray for some time, but he’s ready to find his forever home where he can truly shine.
While Buddy is still adjusting to shelter life, he’s already showing that he loves being petted and is warming up to people. He has a gentle and calm nature, and with time, we know he’ll open up even more. Buddy isn’t quite comfortable with other cats yet—he keeps a respectful distance—but he has no issues with them, and we think he’d do best in a home where he can continue to take things at his own pace.
This sweet boy has a soft spot for treats, so if you’re looking to win his heart, a few tasty snacks might be just the way to go! Buddy would thrive in a calm and quiet home where he can feel safe and loved, and we know he’ll make a wonderful companion for the right person.
If you're looking for a loyal friend who needs a little patience and lots of love, Buddy could be the one for you!
DESTINY
5 year old female
Destiny is a calm, docile, and affectionate 5-year-old girl who's ready to find her forever family!
She was recently surrendered due to some life changes that were causing her anxiety, but with patience and love, she will blossom into a loyal companion. Destiny is a super sweet girl who thrives in a calm, quiet environment. She’s affectionate once she’s comfortable, and she loves to bond with her humans, offering all the snuggles and love in return!
She’s lived with dogs and gets along well with other cats, so she could be a great addition to a multi-pet household. However, she would do best in a home with no small children, as they were a source of stress in her previous situation.
Destiny is searching for a peaceful, stress-free home where she can relax and feel safe. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will appreciate all the love and care you have to offer, Destiny may be the perfect match!
DICE
2 year old male
This sweet 2-year-old boy is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and pampered! Dice is a friendly and affectionate cat who absolutely loves being petted – he’s all about the love!
When Dice came to us, he had some wounds, including one on his head, but don't worry – he's healing up wonderfully and showing his true, playful personality more every day. He's food motivated (which makes him even easier to spoil!), and he loves lounging in his cozy bed while soaking up all the attention.
Dice is still recovering from his neuter, but we can tell he’s going to be a playful and energetic boy once he has the space to stretch out and explore. He'll need a home that is door cautious, as he’s got a bit of a "door dasher" personality – so be prepared to keep an eye on those exits!
If you're looking for a loving companion who will reward you with affection and good vibes, Dice just might be your guy! He can't wait to find the right home to call his own.
DORITO
2 year old male
Dorito is a cat with a heart full of potential, just waiting for the right person to show him the kindness and patience he deserves. Currently struggling with shelter life, Dorito is a very scared boy who needs a calm, quiet home where he can truly feel safe and begin to open up at his own pace.
We haven't yet found the right motivator for him, as he’s still adjusting to his surroundings, but with time and patience, we believe Dorito will blossom into a loving companion. He’s not quite ready for all the hustle and bustle of daily life and would do best with someone who has experience with fearful kitties or simply a soft spot for those who need a little extra time to come out of their shell.
If you have a patient heart and understand that some cats just need time to trust and feel at home, Dorito could be the perfect match for you. With the right person, Dorito will surely show just how sweet and loving he can be.
If you’re looking for a kitty who needs someone to believe in him, Dorito might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
HARMONY
5 year old female
Meet Melody and Harmony – a bonded pair ready to find their forever home!
Melody, who is 6 years old, and her daughter Harmony, who is 5 years old, are a musically inclined duo as sweet and loving as their names suggest. They’re part of the same harmonious family as our previously adopted stars, Bohemian and Rhapsodie, and now it’s their turn to find a stage to call their own.
Both Melody and Harmony are FIV positive, but don’t let that scare you. They can live long, happy lives and peacefully coexist with other friendly cats as long as proper introductions are made.
These two love people and are always ready for pets, snuggles, and attention. With a little time to settle in, they enjoy the company of feline friends. Melody and Harmony would like to be adopted together, as they thrive in each other’s company. Harmony is a snuggle bug who will do anything to be by your side and be petted.
JULIA
2 year old female
This stunning lady is ready to start a new chapter in a home where she can feel safe, pampered, and loved!
Julia was surrendered to us after her previous owner realized she deserved a better life. She had been an indoor/outdoor cat and had multiple litters of kittens (who are now weaned and no longer on her mind). Right now, Julia is in “mom mode” and would prefer to be the only pet in the home while she settles in and gets comfortable. Her previous owner noted that she’s actually good with both cats and dogs, but because she’s still hormonally adjusting and protective of her past litters, she’s just not thriving around other animals at the moment.
Julia is wonderful with all humans and loves treats, toys, and exploring her surroundings. She’s curious, outgoing, and ready to be your one and only companion!
Once Julia feels settled and secure in her new home, we think she’ll be more open to sharing space with other pets, but for now, she’s looking for a peaceful, pet-free environment where she can relax and enjoy the attention she deserves.
If you’re looking for a confident, loving cat who will be your best friend, Julia could be the perfect fit for you!

PEEP
4 year old male
Meet Peep – The Window Watcher Turned Lap Lover! Peep’s journey to indoor life started in the most fitting way—by peeping into the windows of our Cat Coordinator’s home, watching her feed her own cats as if dreaming of being part of the family. But life hadn’t been kind to Peep; he had a substantial wound on his face, so we immediately trapped him and got him the care he desperately needed. Now, his wound is healing beautifully, and he’s learning what it means to be safe, loved, and warm.
Peep is FIV positive, but don’t let that scare you! He’s great with other cats and, after some initial hissing and adjustments, settles in well—especially when he has a trusted human to give him confidence. He’d be happy in a home with other calm and respectful cats, whether they have FIV or not, or as the only feline in the household.
At first, Peep can be shy, so he needs an adopter experienced with giving nervous kitties time to adjust. But once he trusts you? He becomes the ultimate lap cat. We’re talking full-on biscuit-making, velcro-kitty energy. He will settle into your lap so completely that you’ll feel terrible having to get up—even for just a bathroom break! Peep needs a human dedicated to starting the acclimation process in a room with minimal hiding places, as he will squeeze himself into even the most obscure hiding spots when scared.
Peep is still getting used to indoor life and hasn’t shown much interest in toys or treats yet, but with patience, that will come. What he does know is that he never wants to be outside again. He longed for a home, and now he’s looking for the right person to give him one—a safe, loving, and patient home that will keep him secure, just like he always wanted when he was watching from the outside.
POUNCER
1ish year old male
Pouncer is a 1-2-year-old male cat who’s been through a lot. He was found as a stray, living outside for quite some time, and is now learning to adjust to the comforts of a home. Because of his past, Pouncer can be a bit shy and still needs time to fully trust and open up.
While he’s a little reserved at first, Pouncer LOVES treats and is very food-driven, so he’ll happily come closer for a tasty snack! He will accept gentle pets, and with a little patience, he’s sure to warm up and become a loyal and affectionate companion. Once he trusts you, he will melt into your hands and accept lots of head scritches.
Pouncer is still getting used to his new life and would do best in a calm and understanding home. We recommend a family with no small children or children who are overly energetic, as Pouncer needs a peaceful environment to feel safe and secure.
If you’re looking for a cat who just needs a little time and love to blossom, Pouncer could be the perfect fit. He’s on his way to becoming the sweet, trusting cat he’s meant to be.
Most kittens are in foster homes. All pets require an appointment to meet them, but especially kittens, as meet and greets depend on foster availability. To schedule a meet and greet please call 412-672-8901.
Generally, kittens do best with other pets in the home, especially another cat friend. Nearly all WOASH adoptable kittens require another cat in the home or to be adopted as a pair. We typically do not allow kittens do be adopted as the singular pet in the household, unless they require otherwise.
PRINCE
3 month old male
Looking for a royal companion? Meet Prince—the sweetest, playful kitten who’s ready to charm you with his big personality and love for adventure!
Prince may take a little time to trust you, but once he does, he’s all about the snuggles and attention! He’s a bit of a ham and loves to be petted once he knows you’re his person.
When he’s not cuddling up, you can find Prince running, chasing, pouncing, and playing like the energetic kitten he is! His playful antics will keep you smiling all day long.
Prince absolutely adores other cats and would do best in a home with another feline friend to keep him company and play with him. He was found as a stray with his two sisters, Poppy and Pandora.
If you're looking for a sweet, fun, and loving companion, Prince might just be your perfect match! He’s ready to find his forever home where he can be spoiled, play to his heart’s content, and form a bond that’ll last a lifetime.
