FORTUNE
2 year old lab/pit mix
Fortune is a loving girl that weights about 45 pounds. She is so friendly with everyone she meets and loves squeaky toys. She enjoys zooming around our play yard, then when tired out, comes back for cuddles. She walks well on a leash and is mostly house trained. She does well with most other dogs and is curious, but okay with cats.
JP
3 year old pit mix
JP is so lovable and fun to be around! He loves to go on walks and has improved his leash skills when walked with a harness. He loves to chew on squeaky toys and sits so well to get treats. JP is a big, strong boy who can play rough. He definitely needs an experienced owner who will correct and redirect his play. He needs a family that’s willing to give him a chance and work on his training and obedience skills. JP would love to be a part of an adult only home or with dog-savvy teenagers. He just doesn’t understand his size when he plays with small kids. After this experience, he would be best without cats and he is dog selective. JP must go to a home with a fenced yard. He weighs about 80 pounds.
KEELIE
9 month old mixed breed
Keelie was one of multiple dogs found in various states of emaciation. She is still recovering and putting on weight, but would like to do this in a home. She can be timid at first, but is super food motivated! She would be happiest in a home with another doggo friend. Having another pup at home will help her gain confidence. She would love a home where her humans are home more often than not. She is still working to come out of her shell. She LOVES to be with people.
MINNIE
1 year old mixed breed
As her name suggests, she truly is a pint-sized girl. You can't tell from her pictures, so come meet her in person! Minnie weighs around 35lbs and won't get any bigger. Minnie is a medium sized mixed breed and she's estimated to be around 1 year old. Minnie is super friendly and is truly a little ball of energy! She loves to play with toys and loves to run circles in our play yard. She'd love to have an active family and a yard of her very own! Minnie is good with most other dogs but a meet n greet is always required between any potential doggy siblings. Minnie would do best with older children only because she's super playful with tons of energy.
PEBBLES
1 year old terrier mix
This 35 pound girl is super sweet and tinier than she looks. Pebbles was found as a stray, but no owner ever claimed her. Pebbles loves to play and has tons of energy! She walks okay on a leash and does seem to be mostly house trained. She's working on learning how to sit. She's just so excited to receive attention and affection that she cannot contain herself when we try working on obedience. She’d just rather cuddle and be petted. Pebbles is good with most other dogs and is good with kids. She would love to have a home where people are around more often than not, or one where she would have another playmate for company. We are currently unsure on cats, but if a family with cat is interested in adopting her, we will cat test her. This little sweetie pie is the perfect size and is truly a happy little girl.
RANSOM
9 month old lab mix
Ransom is around 45lbs currently and shouldn’t get much bigger. Ransom can be a little fearful of strangers at first, but once he warms up he is such a cuddle bug! Ransom loves to play and has tons of puppy energy to work out. He loves to run around with us in our play yard and is usually always playing with his toys in his kennel. We’re working on this, but he loves to jump up on everyone for attention and pets. He’s definitely got the puppy eyes down! Ransom walks okay on a leash, needs to work on basic obedience, and does seem to be mostly house trained. Ransom loves other dogs but we are currently unsure of cats. He would love to have an adult only home or one with teen aged children.
ANNIKA
5 month old female
Annika is a gorgeous girl who was found in the public bathroom of a local business. Annika is such a sweetheart and loves to be petted! She is settling in well with us and would be so happy to find a forever home, one where someone won't abandon her again. Annika gets along with other cats. She takes a few days to warm up, but once she does, she is such a sweetie with everyone she meets.
ARLO
4 year old male
FIV+ & FeLV+
We cannot express just how much we adore Arlo! This perfect boy is quite and docile. He is still getting comfortable with us and does not outwardly seek affection. You can see, though, as soon as one of his favorite humans enter the room, his eyes light up. He loves to be petted and will let out the softest purr and even make biscuits. He is okay with being held and will wrap his paws around his BFF's neck. Arlo needs a calm and quiet home where he can come out of his shell. This poor boy was found as a stray, but due to FIV and FeLV, his finder's were unable to keep him. He is truly the best boy and you need to meet him to see it!
AVOCADO
2 year old male
New kitty, description coming soon.
'BAMA
4 year old female
Bama was found on a busy road nearly hit by cars. She is microchipped, so we were sure someone was missing her! Oddly enough, Bama's microchip was implanted in ALABAMA! This little girl came a very long way. Bama loves to be petted and snuggled. She is so friendly! She also loves her cardboard scratch pad and catnip mice. Come meet her!
BEAR
4 year old male
Bear is a sweet boy who was found as a stray. He was given the name bear because he has a nub for tail, like a bear! He is so friendly and affectionate with every human he meets. Bear is still getting comfortable here, and doesn't seem to be a fan of the other kitties at this time. Bear is very interested in toys, but backs away from playtime when some of our other kitties are trying to play, too. Bear would thrive in a home where he can be the only cat or with laid-back cats that will allow him to be the alpha. Bear is very vocal and can hold some great conversations with his new human best friend!
LOTTIE
6 month old female
Lottie, aptly named after the parking lot she was found in, is a fun and spunky girl. She was skinny and dirty when found. Lottie loves to be petted and held. She's a great conversationalist and will talk to you through meows! She can entertain herself all day by playing with toys. She is a gentle girl who even let us dress her up in Halloween costumes! Lottie appears to get along with other cats and would likely do well with dogs given an introductory period. She would do well with cat-respectful children. As always, we are cautious of young children, no matter how friendly the cat is. Please teach your kids to safely handle and respect pets.
MICA
13 year old female
Bonded with Roxanne
New kitty, description coming soon.
PEPPERCORN
9 year old female
We're sorry that humans failed you, Peppercorn. Peppercorn was adopted 8-9 years ago. Over time she developed bladder stones and potential asthma. Rather than her family caring for her needs, they surrendered her to a municipal shelter, where she would have been at risk for euthanasia. We now have Peppercorn in our care and she is seeking a much better life. Peppercorn is on urinary care food, due to previously noted bladder stones. She is also on prednisolone while our vet monitors her noted asthma symptoms. Peppercorn needs a home, with either an adopter or long-term foster, so she can feel safe and secure again. Once Peppercorn knows you, she loves to be petted and is so affectionate. She needs a family willing to brush her wild fur. She has blossomed into such a friendly and loving girl. Come give her a chance!
TATUM
1 year old female
Tatum was left on a sidewalk along the road in a box. This sweetheart was terrified when she first came in, but has really come out of her shell! Tatum loves to be petted. She will give head bumps and enjoys scritches. On arrival, Tatum was very fearful of other cats. Now that she is spayed, she is starting to settle down. Tatum would be happiest as the only kitty or with docile male cats. She seems to be a bit of an alpha female at this time.

STARRY NIGHT
10 month old female
Starry came to us scared and confused after being abandoned when her owners moved. She was just a kitten, who obviously lacked social interaction during her formative kitten-hood. After spending time in a foster home, she has warmed up so much and loves to be petted. She really is a lap cat and loves people she trusts! She is great with other cats, and especially cares for the young kittens in her foster home. She will be found snuggling and grooming them. She has become indifferent towards the dogs in her foster home, as long as they keep a respectable distance. She would need a calm household where she can continue to flourish.

Please submit an adoption application, and under "Name" note is it to foster the three pups. Since we are shelter-based, we do not have a foster specific application at this time. Our goal is for the three pups to be fostered together. This is for the socialization of the pups, as they are only about 6 weeks old and should still be with their mother and learning to socialize with each other. This is also for ease in scheduling vet care with one foster versus three separate fosters. Thanks for understanding!
We are always in need of reliable foster homes for kittens up to 6 months old, moms cats with nursing kittens, and neonatal kittens. Our greatest need is fosters willing to take on a mom and nursing kittens!
WOASH can provide food, litter, and other supplies while foster families provide the love and care. Once kittens are of appropriate age and vet care, they begin seeking their forever homes through the WOASH adoption process.
Call to inquire about becoming a kitten foster home.
*The pictured kittens have been adopted and are not in need of a foster home.*
