Check out our wish list for items we always need! These items can be new or gently used. Anything that we cannot use is shared with other shelters/rescues and the local Pet Food Pantry.
What Do We Need Most? As of April 2026, our greatest needs are replacement items for a more sanitary environment! We are looking to replace plastic litter boxes with stainless steel. We also hope to have individual litter scoop holders for every cage to prevent sharing litter scoops amongst cages. Kuranda cat towers are made of easy to sanitize materials rather than cloth, and are better for the shelter environment.
Our dogs need new toys or gently used and long lasting bones/chews. We also need quick-release martingale collars and slip leads.
We always need laundry detergent and disinfectant wipes.

Your donations provide basic supplies, like food, toys, litter, and other items to help us care for our pets.

Your donations help cover the cost to keep our shelter running, such as water, electricity, heating/cooling, etc.

Your donations help cover medical bills for both routine care and additional care for sick, injured, and neglected pets.

Your donations allow us to host low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinics for the community.
Please note, we use certain food brands in the shelter to not cause upset stomachs by constantly changing food. If food is donated that is not a preferred brand, we share with the community and donate it to the local pet food pantry. You are welcome to donate items that are not our preferred brands directly to your local pet food pantry to save the humans a lot of traveling and exchanging of items. For recommendations on local pet food pantries, please call.
We have some cats and dogs in long-term foster care! Most are in longer-term foster for medical needs, and are essentially not adoptable due to their needs. They may be "hospice" care senior pets, or pets who came in with chronic conditions. They will remain under the care of WOASH for their remaining days, while living with their foster families. Read about some of our long-term foster pets by clicking the button below, and please consider making a donation towards their care!
