Background:
Ray was found wandering the streets alone, starving and completely blind. Despite his rough start, he has shown incredible resilience and a sweet, trusting nature. He has Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), which means he’s lost nearly all of his vision, but daily supplements help preserve what little sight he has left.
Personality:
- Gentle, loving, and affectionate once he trusts you
- Playful with toys when in the mood
- Confident and resilient, quickly learning the layout of his environment
- Loyal and devoted to his people
Good With:
- Calm, friendly dogs (meet-and-greets required)
- Cats may be possible with slow introductions
Does Not Prefer:
- Young children or a busy, chaotic household
