We do not accept walk-ins. Whether you're surrendering your own pet or a stray you’ve found, an appointment is required. As a small shelter, we operate at full capacity, and we cannot always guarantee space. We use a waitlist system, and same-day surrenders are very rare. Please understand that we may not be able to assist with immediate placements. If you need urgent help, we can provide a list of local resources for you to contact.
We strongly encourage you to explore all options to keep your pet before considering surrender. Contacting a trainer or veterinary professional may help resolve challenges. We are here to provide recommendations and support when needed.
To start the surrender process:
We only accept cats and dogs at our shelter. If we are unable to take your pet or add you to the waitlist, we ask for your patience and understanding as we work through our limited space. We also recommend reaching out to other shelters and rescues in the area to explore additional options.
Thank you for your understanding and for giving your pet the best chance by considering all alternatives before surrendering.
