Having lived through an abusive home and a house fire, Layla is a survivor. She is sweet and loving but her tragic past has left her a bit overprotective. To combat these issues, the shelter has sent her to be retrained and she is making big progress – her trainer reports that once she gets to know you, Layla will make a loving companion. We are looking to find an exceptional person for Layla who is willing to first spend time with her and her trainer in South Hills. Applicants should be patient and experienced with large dogs. Her home should be calm and peaceful, adult-only with a fenced yard. Layla loves her buddy Duke. We would really like to see them adopted out together.
